About the DCWM Foundation, Inc.
Our Mission
The DCWM Foundation, Inc. engages in activities permissible under section 501(c)(3) including: conducting research, education, the environment, protection of natural resources, and economic development, and other charitable causes and entities. No part of any activities of the organization will include participating in or intervening in any political campaign on behalf of or in opposition to any candidate for public office.
To maximize our impact on current efforts, we may seek to collaborate with other non-profit organizations which fall under the 501(c)(3) section of the internal revenue code and are operated exclusively for charitable purposes.
At times, per the discretion of the board of directors, we may provide internships or volunteer opportunities which will provide opportunities for involvement in said activities and programs in
order to have a greater impact for change.

Cash contributions may be made as lump sums or as annual payments. A variety of payment plans are also available. An annual reminder will be sent as a convenience in the month prior to the anniversary of your pledges.

You choose the amount that fits your budget, sign up online, and we do the rest. Monthly giving eliminates many overhead costs and allows us to direct more to habitat initiatives.

Matching Gifts
Over 500 companies and corporate foundations currently match their employees' gifts to DCWM Foundation, Inc. Under a corporate matching gift program, gifts made by a company's eligible employees to the nonprofit organizations that meet the company's guidelines are matched with company or corporate foundation funds. If you are affiliated with a company that matches contributions you may be eligible to have your gift to DCWM Foundation, Inc. doubled or tripled. If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to DCWM Foundation, Inc. may go further than you imagined!
IRA Charitable Rollover
If you are 70 1/2 or older, you can make a charitable gift to DCWM Foundation, Inc. through your annual required minimum distribution. Please contact our Office for specific instructions.
Gifts of Securities and Stock
Gifts of marketable securities, or stock listed on an exchange, can be an advantageous way to make a substantial gift to support the missions of DCWM Foundation, Inc.
In most cases, these gifts avoid capital gains taxes and are deductible for income tax purposes based on the fair market value of the stock on the date of the gift.
Gifts of closely held stock may also be accepted. Such gifts should be discussed with a member of the staff prior to making the gift.
Tangible Gifts
This program is designed for Donors who wish to contribute certain gifts of original artwork, collectibles, real estate or other personal property. Please contact our staff at 414-688-7547 for further information about making a gift of property. Thank you for supporting our vital work.
